Swatched: Lancôme Vernis in Love Rose Bonheur, Rose Plumenti and Aquamarine
We have heard a lot about the Lancôme Vernis in Love range, and it is favourited by @noemihk on Instagram, a lovely lady we casually stalk for upcoming polish swatches. We received a few polishes to test out for ourselves - and we are absolutely blown away. The three that we tried have awesome formulation, and we will definitely be customers in the future. We would not hesitate to recommend all three of these shades to anyone - the brush is perfection, and the polishes have the perfect amount of glide and absolutely no streaks.
First up, we have to go with our favourite colour... aqua! This is Aquamarine and we are ready for this beachy bright for Summer - one day of Spring sun and we're already on the next season. This swatch is two coats. If you're consistently searching for a new shade of aqua, this polish is for you!
Next up is Rose Plumenti, a shimmery pink. We aren't huge shimmer polish lovers, however this is pretty subtle. You really do have to angle your nails to catch the shimmer in the light. The lighting in our photo makes this polish look a bit streaky, however it really does apply perfectly and looks uniform on the nail.
Overall, we are in love with what we've seen of this polish line, aptly titled Vernis in Love. We will definitely need to add a few more of these shades to our collection! Looking forward to using these in nail art, especially Rose Bonheur. Have you tried any polishes from Lancôme - what did you think?

Finally, our new go-to neon pink, an amazing shade we didn't expect from Lancôme - Rose Bonheur. We are totally obsessed with this polish and its translation in photos is really spot on. This colour is super bright and we are in. love. Totally recommend this polish to anyone, a great addition to any collection.

Swatched: Ciaté Love Letter - We're in love...
We've been having a bit of a love affair with some Ciaté polishes lately, and our first swatch to share is one of our absolute favourites - Love Letter. This is a pink glitter bomb which leans orange-y in the light. Since one is never enough, we have two swatches to share - a natural light version and an indoor version. This is a shade that looks great from every angle - and these swatches are only two coats!
Ciaté polishes can be purchased online at www.ciate.co.uk and are also available at Sephora.

Estée Lauder Essentials: Two Polishes Every Girl Must Have in Her Collection
Estée Lauder is a cosmetics company founded in 1946 which now acts as an umbrella brand empire housing many other well-known brands such as MAC, Smashbox, and Bobbi Brown. We were super excited to receive two of their classic shades to review - Ballerina Pink and Pure Red. Every woman's nail polish collection needs both of these shades, and we are super excited to share them with you! The Estée Lauder bottle is gorgeous and could definitely be a display item on your vanity. On to the swatches...
First up is Ballerina Pink, which is a sheer baby pink jelly - perfect for a french manicure or demure, clean polish look. This swatch is three coats, a departure from our usual two, just so we could see how opaque it could get. We are pretty impressed with the coverage, and this polish was a dream to work with! Streak free application, and a beautiful shade make this polish a go-to for us!

Next up is Pure Red - an accurate name. This red is super bright and juicy looking, and we totally love it. This swatch is two coats, and the application is also amazing. Let us know if you have tried any Estée Lauder polishes and been impressed with the application as well! If you need a go-to red, this is your polish! This is the definition of a classic polish colour.
Overall, we were totally impressed with these shades and definitely hope to try out some more Estée Lauder polishes in the future - these are a definite recommend for anyone looking to splurge on a classic shade!

Spring Striped Mani
Spring has sprung! Or is that just our nails? Regardless, we're getting in to the season by sporting some bright and pastel stripes on our fingertips. For this look we used a variety of brands and colours, but the fun of this mani is mixing and matching! Gather a bunch of your favourite polishes and go with the flow. We used striping tape, available here, to create the straight edges for our lines - but you could just as easily use a thin paint brush available at your local craft store.
We started with OPI's Alpine Snow for our base, a classic white with great coverage. We used Seche Vite top coat and let that dry for about 10 minutes, to ensure the striping tape didn't strip the white polish. Then we applied striping tape at different intervals to achieve the bands of different thickness. We used a few of our favourite colours, examples above, to paint within the boundaries of the striping tape. Alternating the order of your colours on each nail makes this mani even more playful, we tried to keep each nail different! Then, after a few minutes drying time, we carefully peeled off the striping tape and finished with a second coat of top coat! Voila, stripes for spring!

Why we love them:
What girl doesn't love pink? Scratch that, what girl doesn't love every shade of her favourite colour? These nails can be reproduced with any colour, as well as with vertical or diagonal stripes, instead of horizontal. With so many different options, these nails are completely customizable... and we love being unique! These beauties look good with a little black dress and heels in the same shade!

What to do:
- Start with clean, dry nails. Paint each nail with base coat.
- Place the tape very close to the base of the nail but leave room for one colour. Paint with the darkest shade.
- Repeating that step slowly moving the tape farther down the nail and changing the colour for each stripe. Try to keep the space between your last colour and the tape constant, for a cleaner look!
- Once the whole nail is completed, fix up any mistakes with a nail art brush.
- Paint on top coat after ensuring your nails are dry, and allow to dry!

Saran Wrap Criss Cross Nails

Why we love them:
We love the look of the criss cross pattern reversed on the accent nail! Also, we love using items that are already around our house to make cool nail designs, as opposed to shopping for costly items at a beauty supply store. This design looks much more difficult than it is, and will surely impress all your friends!

This design looks much more difficult than it is, and will surely impress all your friends!
What to do:
- Start with clean, dry nails. Paint each nail with base coat.
- Paint all nails light blue. Two coats may be required.
- Cut pieces of tape and place them on the nails like the picture below -Step 1 (for the accent nail the tape is cut in triangles instead of strips). Make sure the tape has no spaces between the polish and the tape other wise you won't get your desired straight line once the other paint is on and you have peeled off your tape.
- Paint a nail pink, using the saran wrap roll it up into a circle and blot the pink right after you paint it creating this tie-dye look, repeat with all nails (Picture -Step 2).
- Paint a nail blue, using the saran wrap roll it up into a circle and blot the blue right after you paint it creating this tie-dye look, repeat with all nails and make sure you can see the pink more blotting may be required (Picture -Step 2).
- Make sure the polish is dry before removing your tape.
- Fix up any mistakes with a nail art brush using the light blue for straight edges.
- Paint on top coat after ensuring your nails are dry, and allow to dry!

This nail art looks great as an accent nail or a full set. It would also look fabulous on big toes!
What you need:
- Nail Art Brush (buy it in a set with a dotter from Sephora, here)
- Nude (we used Nails Inc. Basil Street, buy it here)
- Dark Pink (we used Essie Big Spender, buy it here)
- Light Pink (we used Essie Off the Shoulder, buy it here)
- Navy Blue (we used Essie Aruba Blue, buy it here)
- Base Coat and Top Coat (we used Essie, buy the top coat here, and base coat here)
What to do:
- Start with clean, dry nails. Paint each nail with base coat.
- Choose a pattern of nail polish that looks the best to you. We used Nude, Navy Blue, Dark Pink, Light Pink.
- Start in the middle with your darkest colour. Put a dot in the middle of your finger so you can move outwards to the edges of your nail evenly.
- Move in one direction first (we went to the cuticle first, then move from middle to tip) using each colour in the pattern you set out, cleaning the nail art brush with nail polish remover and a cotton pad between each colour.
- Paint on top coat after ensuring your nails are dry so there is no running, and allow to dry!
